Every year, the Dutch Student Ekiden Championship is organised by a student athletics club. This year it is D.A.V. Kronos from Enschede. During this NSK, all participating teams will run a marathon in the fastest possible time. A team consists of six people, which will run 5-10-5-10-5-7.195 kilometres respectively to reach the official marathon distance.
Besides the battle for the national student titles, there is also the opportunity for non-students to enter our competition. These will participate out of competition and therefore will not compete for medals.
As befits an NSK, there will be unique event after the race, dinner for those who like it and a splashy final party. There will be accommodation options for those who have to make a far return journey. More information about the competition can be found in the drop-down menu.
